Celebration! 6pm, Thursday 14th September in the Brisbane Room, level 2, Brisbane City Hall

Let's Celebrate! Everyone is invited to Brisbane City Hall to help Art From The Margins celebrate our tenth birthday.

For ten years Brisbane Festival and Art From The Margins have partnered to deliver exhibitions of original, truthful, and inspiring art. Since 2008 more than 1,000 artists have participated. In 2017 City Hall will come alive with the colour and creative imagination of hundreds of artists from Brisbane and beyond.

The AFTM Brisbane Festival partnership showcases the stories and talents of artists living with mental health issues, physical or intellectual disabilities, homelessness or experiencing social isolation.

The exhibition will feature painting, drawing, photography, sculpture and installations from individual artists and showcasing Artist’s Studios from the region.

Come along and celebrate compelling visual stories of resilience, courage and creativity. Open from 10am-5pm daily, and admission is free - all are welcome.

Exhibition is on display in the Sandgate and Sherwood rooms on the ground floor of Brisbane City Hall.
